  1. “ShiftFuel was born out of a simple observation: the workers who power Alberta’s industrial heartland -the welders, operators, pipefitters, and construction crews who show up at 4am, work through the weekend, and keep multi-billion dollar projects moving -have almost nowhere to turn for a hot, nutritious meal during their break window.
  2. Conventional restaurants close before the overnight shift starts. Delivery platforms cannot guarantee hot food at a remote worksite at 6am. Vending machines do not feed a crew of forty. And for the large and growing number of Muslim and South Asian workers in Alberta’s industrial workforce, finding a Halal-certified hot meal during a twelve-hour shift is not just inconvenient -it is often impossible.
